Another excellent free resource for any sort of diagramming is Lucidchart. It works well for K-12 coursework: Venn Diagrams, mind maps, simple flowcharts, etc. It's also great for more advanced uses like wireframes and process flows.

I'd love to add another one to this list. Learningpod is a free online question bank that includes everything from Common Core to GMAT practice tests. There are a few simple tools there to create quizzes and assignments for teachers.
